‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
The episode for Wednesday, August 20 will be an interesting one as we’ll get the start of a war and different levels of faith.
Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will have enough of seeing Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). So, Claire will out her deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Audra will try to convince Nate otherwise, but he won’t have the emotional levels to deal with it at the moment.
But it’ll also get Claire to thinking about Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and her trust in him may be crumbling.
Meanwhile, Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will surprise Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) at how she’s enjoying plotting against Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).
She’ll feel her history as a con artist will help her to thwart him.
It’ll be fun to see some of the old Chelsea back, and she’ll be more energized that Adam has a different plan of attack than Victor and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Wednesday, August 20: Claire’s attack has consequences
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have been waiting for Claire to snap and start her war with Audra. We don’t have to wait any longer as she’ll out Audra completely to Nate.
It’ll be a shock to Nate, who is already having the worst day or his life after burying his brother and learning him mom lost the will to live.
So, when Audra tries to claim Claire made it all up, he’ll point out it all tracks but he doesn’t have the emotional energy for this right now.
For Claire, she’ll start to worry about Kyle. It looks like it’ll be more because of Holden Novak (Nathan Owens)’s seemingly innocent questions than Audra, but the wheels are turning.

We think it’s pretty cool that Chelsea is letting some of her old self come out to battle Cane. She’s invigorated for the first time in a while, and we hope it’ll lead to some fun moments.
Adam will be surprised and happy to see her so into their upcoming war. He’ll even point out that he disagrees with his father and brother’s idea and is using his own plan of attack.
It’ll be interesting to see what all he has planned and how Chelsea will play into it. Cane is going to have his hands full.
