‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that the Abbott family is considering doing exactly what Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) expects them to do. Are they not savvy enough to know that Tucker will expect their move? Is he going to beat them at this game because they really can’t outthink him?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: So Predictable
At this point, the only thing the Abbott family has right is that Tucker McCall wants Jabot. He wants revenge on them. He wants to take their company, no matter how long it takes him to do so.
While his plan has never been outlined, Tucker has always been content to play the long game. The Abbott family will suffer and stew, wondering what he has up his sleeve for them. They think about what they need to do to outmaneuver him or what leverage they may have to use against him.
But no matter how passionate they are about protecting their family company and thwarting Tucker’s plans; he always seems to stay ahead of the game and know their next move. The reason for that is that they act so predictably, and he knows what their next move will be. Can’t tell that Tucker will see right through their latest idea? Wouldn’t they if they were in his shoes?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Need a New Plan
Tucker will never trust an Abbott, no matter who they are. He said his heart was broken by Y&R’s Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) when she changed her mind about working with him. Her attempts to find out what he is up to aren’t really working because there is no way he is going to trust her.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) changed his mind about working with Tucker to take over Jabot. While Y&R’s Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) is upset by this, Tucker expected it. He didn’t think Kyle would easily turn on his family. Now he suspects that the Abbott family will try to get Kyle to pretend to reconnect with Audra just so he can gather intel.
This is exactly what Diane Jenkins Abbott suggests to Kyle so that he can earn his father’s support in taking his Uncle Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) job. How can the Abbott family think that Tucker won’t see this coming? Of course he will suspect Kyle and will use him to destroy Jabot, even as Kyle thinks he is helping his family. Can’t the Abbotts find someone else who could pull one over on Tucker?
