Things are moving and shaking in Genoa City as a whole lot of interesting twists are coming, and ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready with plenty of popcorn.
Of course, we expect the twists to come with more twists as we’re going to be sent on a couple of wild goose chases.
Let’s dig into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 17: Nikki’s in for a surprise
Given recent developments, namely Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)’s guilt over ripping out her friends and family’s hearts, we have a feeling Nikki Newman (melody Thomas Scott) will be the first one to learn Phyllis is alive.
‘Young and the Restless’ suspect Phyllis will need some help in dealing with the aftermath of her killing Jeremy Stark (James Hyde).
Granted, it was self defense, but she’s not going to want to take the chance of being arrested and put in prison away from her children if she can help it.
So, it makes sense she’ll approach one of her co-conspirators about hiding Stark’s body, or rather to remain in hiding once his body is discovered.
We doubt she’ll have a plan in mind for how to spin it, and she’ll hope Nikki can give her some help.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 17: Chance’s discovery
This is the one area we’re curious what’ll happen with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), and we think he may be in the perfect place at the perfect time.
This could go several different ways, and one is that Chance will happen across Stark’s body. It may be accidental as Phyllis may have to drop him and run, or she could leave him somewhere to be found and since Chance is nearby he’ll be the one to find him.
This will give the writers a chance to sidetrack the story as Chance will begin searching for Stark’s murderer, and he has plenty of suspects, with Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) being at the top of the list.
Since Daniel made so many threats toward Stark after he learned of Phyllis’ death, Chance will follow the same logic he used for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
It’ll be yet another problem to heap onto Phyllis’ bad decision, and it’ll put her in a more torturous position if Nikki tries to help her in any way.
Of course, this is assuming Nikki will help Phyllis and whether or not she’ll try to convince Phyllis to quietly let her children know she’s alive so they’re not suffering and Diane is still arrested.
Will Nikki help Phyllis or let her deal with her actions herself? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
