‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) asked Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) to move in with him as he knew she was wanting to set her roots down in Genoa City and make the place her new home. We saw this in a preview for this week, but today we actually got an answer.
It may seem obvious, but Amanda said yes. While this may seem like a happy day and everyone’s doing the happy dance, including Amanda’s sister, Imani Benedict (Leigh-Anne Rose), we can’t help but think that with Devon potentially having the baby fever as well, that he may try to rush things with Amanda that will cause her to lean back a bit.

Sure, we’ve only seen a few glimpses of Devon reminiscing about the baby and only brought it up a few times to Amanda, but we can’t help but think that that is part of the reason he asked Amanda to move in with him in the first place. He’s already thinking ahead and thinking about being a father, of course, he needs someone like Amanda in his life first before that happens.
On the other hand, I kind of feel like Amanda may be down for this. I get it, Devon is wealthy, successful, and has a cool penthouse. Seems like a great guy, so maybe we could see them move along pretty quickly.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) have been moving along quickly, and while it may mostly be due to his “illness”, they have moved to their wedding within months of meeting. I think we could see a similar path with Devon and Amanda. Of course, this will probably piss off Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), who was with Devon for how long? Now, Devon moves in with Amanda and they get married and have a family. I don’t know, just seems like a possibility.
