‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that we won’t see much more of Alyvia Alyn Lind (Faith Newman) who has portrayed the daughter of Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) on the show for years, as she’s going to move on to new projects.
Lind has landed a role on Syfy’s upcoming ‘Chucky’ series and is being replaced by Reylnn Caster, and will take over the role as Faith next month on Monday, April 12!
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Alyvia Alyn Lind (Faith Newman) Being Recast By Reylynn Caster After Landing Gig On SyFy’s ‘Chucky’ Series
You may already be familiar with some of Caster’s work, like Netflix’s ‘The Big Show Show’ and had a story arc on ‘American Housewife’.
As for Alyvia Alyn Lind, we all knew this day was coming. After coming onto the show in 2013, she kept landing other gigs one after another, including ‘Transparent’ and even a young Dolly Parton in ‘Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors’. It was only a matter of time before this young talented star continued to fly.
This recast comes at a pivotal time during the young character’s life, where she’s been experimenting with alcohol, dealing with bullies, and even flirting with boys. As Faith lies in the hospital after a tequila-infused car accident, let’s make the most of the time this young actress has left and remember some of our favorite Faith moments before we welcome in new talent.
We wish Lind success in all her future endeavors and will have to check out that new ‘Chucky’ series. Also, let’s welcome Caster to the Y&R family!
