‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Darius McCrary (ex-Malcolm Winters) was arrested last month on suspicion of not paying child support. According to court documents, the actor, who is the father of two daughters and one son, was facing a felony charge for failing to pay child support. As of March 12, 2019, there was an outstanding arrearage of $52,788.04.

McCrary entered a plea of not guilty during his arraignment, and the judge imposed bond conditions of $13,197.01, along with the requirement of being monitored by a GPS device. Despite the bond, online records indicate that he remains incarcerated.

This incident is not the first time Darius McCrary has faced accusations of neglecting child support responsibilities. In 2015, he was arrested on a similar charge, eventually paying around $5,500 in back support.

In 2017, the actor claimed financial struggles, stating that he only earned $500 the previous year, making it challenging to fulfill child support obligations to his then-estranged wife, Tammy Brawner.

The divorce between McCrary and Brawner concluded in 2019 after a drawn-out two-year legal battle. As part of the divorce settlement, Darius McCrary was obligated to pay Tammy Brawner $1,366 per month in child support, the non-payment of which has led to the recent legal troubles.

Less than a year after stating in court that he was taking steps to improve his situation by securing a new acting role with a daily pay of $125 for seven days of work, however Darius McCrary faced another controversy.

He was accused of dislocating his then-2-year-old daughter’s arm, a claim he vehemently denied, alleging that his ex-wife Tammy Brawner fabricated the story.

Darius McCrary and Tammy Brawner were married for three years, and their union ended in 2017 when Brawner filed for divorce. This recent incident adds to the actor’s legal troubles, which include a previous arrest for failure to pay child support.
