‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) have been talking about adoption and starting a family for what feels like forever, and every time it gets close to becoming a reality, something comes up and throws their plans off.
Now, Tessa is overjoyed that they will be speaking with a pregnant woman after Christmas and told Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), though Mariah did not look too excited about it. For some reason, she doesn’t want to tell people and get their hopes up (like Sharon is doing).

There seem to be a lot of emotions going on with these two and their marriage might be in jeopardy. There might be a reason this adoption has taken so long and they keep running into issues. Perhaps there is something deeper going on and there are conflicts they are not resolving.
As for Tessa, she seems genuinely happy and excited, so it’s weird that Mariah would be so upset about the news. Of course, Sharon might go around and tell everyone and then nothing will happen… again. Could their marriage be on the outs though?
