‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is a free man now thanks to his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), who pulled some strings with a psychiatrist and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan)!
Victor knew about Chelsea’s lies and gave her an ultimatum, leveraging her son Connor over here. She obviously wanted to do whatever she had to do for her son, but seemed to have strike some kind of a deal with Victor to play up her “psychosis” and instead of going to jail is going to a mental institution. At least for a while.

Meanwhile, Adam was in the hospital and had been convinced by his brother, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to stay in Genoa City and if he’s really innocent, prove to everyone that he’s a changed man. Nick even told Adam that he would lead by example, and if he believed in Adam, maybe others would too.
Adam was ready to stay anyways and face the music, but luckily now he doesn’t have to. It almost felt like a wasted moment between Nick and him, but now we’ll always know that he was ready to risk everything to fight for his freedom.
The episodes lately have been getting a lot better and are giving hope for the future. We look forward to seeing what comes next for Adam and can’t wait for the black and white chess episode that will take place in Adam’s mind.
