‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is on the verge of a significant awakening. Despite his dedicated efforts to assist Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) in coping with his apparent mental decline, Adam is about to discover a harsh truth.

Fans are already aware that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) came clean to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) but both were content to keep Adam in the dark, allowing Victor to continue deceiving him.

However, Adam may stumble upon more clues that eventually lead him to piece together the elaborate deception he’s been subjected to. This revelation could serve as the wake-up call we mentioned and set the stage for Adam’s forthcoming reaction.

Adam has always felt like an outsider within his own family, but this revelation is poised to elevate that feeling to a new level. Victor, while feigning dementia, manipulated Adam, while his siblings secretly conspired to ensure his downfall.

Once the truth emerges, Adam might choose to sever ties with the Newman clan and opt not to engage with them any longer. The desire for revenge may not even be on Adam’s agenda if he determines that the Newmans simply aren’t worth his time and energy.

Victor’s ploy could potentially backfire spectacularly if it drives Adam to the brink, resulting in him disowning his own father.

Adam might assert that he no longer wishes to be recognized as Victor’s son and suggest that Victor focus his attention on his other offspring from this point forward.

It’s easy to envision an irate Adam insisting that he could never perpetrate such cruelty on Connor Newman, even if Connor were an adult. Victor’s current actions, fabricating mental issues, are reminiscent of his previous misdeeds, such as faking his own death.

In addition to potentially cutting Victor out of his life, Adam might decide to resign from Newman Enterprises and announce his permanent departure from the family business.

Given the depths to which Victor has sunk with his latest scheme, it would seem only fitting for him to face the consequences of his actions. Adam’s response to Victor’s painful betrayal is likely to be severe and unforgiving.

What do you think? Is Adam going to finally cut ties with his father for good? Let us know in the comments below.
