‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers reveals that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) may be bonding over their baby.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Tragedy Distracts Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow)
Usually, Nick Newman is a devoted partner to Sally. He wants to try to keep her life as stress free as possible. He is always attentive to her needs and desires.
Sally really appreciates how thoughtful he is. Even though he is not the father of her child, they don’t plan to break up any time soon.
Nick has been overwhelmed by the loss of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). While they shared a tumultuous past, she was the mother of his daughter Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). The ‘death’ of Phyllis has stunned and shocked the whole community.
Summer has been taking it very hard. Nick is trying to figure out the best way to be a support to his daughter. When Sally expresses her condolences to Summer and shares that she will be at the memorial, Summer erupts.
Summer says that Sally is not welcome at the memorial service, even to support Nick. Personally, Summer does not think Nick and Sally should be together. Sally belongs with Adam, the father of her baby.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Connection Between Adam and Sally
While everyone is at the memorial service for Phyllis, Adam and Sally share some time together at Society. Sally wants to talk about something light–not about the death of Phyllis or about their relationship triangle. Adam, for his part, doesn’t want to talk about his work at Newman.
They share lighthearted parenting talk and then Sally invites Adam to the next doctor’s appointment where they will find out the baby’s sex. He agrees but balks a bit when he finds out that Nick will be there too. However, he does still agree to go.
As they are leaving, the baby starts kicking and Sally lets Adam feel the baby move. This intimate moment brings them close and there is some intensity in their gaze. Is this baby going to bring this couple back into each other’s lives and into each other’s beds? Is Nick going to be left out in the cold? What do you think? Leave your thoughts below.
