‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that we anticipated something to happen when Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) asked Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) to be the donor because the two have been drifting apart for some time.
Although it has taken a while and a lot of waiting, Devon and Abby finally let down their guards in a teaser for this coming week! Abby simply leans in and hangs on to Devon as Devon argues that Chance shouldn’t be taking her for granted. As one can expect, the preview has received a lot of attention and has left many viewers wondering what this means and what will happen next.

Viewers reacted by saying, “That’s so cute Abby and Devon “oh hell yeah” chance is still living in his own misery”, “Well Chance got to work. He is like the only police officer in Genoa City”, “I knew it that Devon had feelings for Abby. Chance better have a ring camera app on his phone to see this.” and “I had a feeling that Devon and Abby were going to hook up, because Amanda isn’t in the picture anymore!”
While some may be worried that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will come back with a vengeance and he and Devon might get into a fight or some kind, I almost wonder if Chance is just done and doesn’t care about it. While I think he loves his son, I’m not sure that he and Abby are in the same place.
Ever since Conner Floyd took over the role from Donny Boaz, it felt like Chance and Abby weren’t quite the same or meant to be together like they had before. Plus, there is a lot more baggage with this version of Chance after he was left for dead and lost a lot of his team.
In a weird combination of all of these things, I don’t think Chance is going to put up much of a fight for her. Devon and Abby might become a household name quicker than we think.
