The Young and the Restless Recap: Kyle Moves Forward With His Plans
At the club, Summer (Hunter King) can’t stop talking about the possibility of becoming Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) future wife. He desperately tells her that he’s willing to do just about anything to help Lola, (Sasha Calle) who is still in critical condition at the hospital. He wants to save her. If Summer donates her liver, he will marry her. But before that happens, Summer wants Kyle to admit that his relationship with Lola wasn’t perfect and that she has so much more to offer.
Summer also tells Kyle that she’s not worried if he thinks he’s still in love with Lola. She knows that she can turn that around and change his mind in no time. Summer then tells them that they should just stay married for a year and divorce if things don’t work out for them. She also doesn’t want anyone to know that she donated her liver to Lola. Kyle agrees to her terms and conditions.

In the courtroom, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) takes the stand. Michael (Christian LeBlanc) questions her about the authenticity of the video. He then asks her if she used the video as blackmail, but Tessa doesn’t reply back. Tessa is then forced to admit that she has no proof of the crime and that she used the tape as a way to get back at Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Sharon (Sharon Case), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Nikki (Melody Scott Thomas).
Tessa also admits that she has a criminal past. Michael then goes as far as to suggest that Tessa might be the one who killed JT Hellstrom. A furious Christine (Lauralee Bell) intervenes and asks for a recess. A tearful Tessa then tells Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that she’s worried there’s more to come.
Over at Jabot, Kerry (Alice Hunter) and Phyllis talk about the future of the company. Phyllis also talks about the court case and how Christine was being unfair to her. She also says that Nick has shut her out of his life. Phyllis admits that she has a plan in mind, but is concerned about Kerry’s romance with Jack. Christine then appears, prompting Kerry to leave the room. She asks Phyllis questions about Tessa.
Back in the courtroom, Christine cross-examines Tessa. She describes how Victoria tried to frame her for JT’s death. She then tells the courtroom how the ladies kidnapped her and left her out in the cold. Michael then looks at Nikki and Victoria and tells them that things aren’t looking so good for them anymore.
