The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, March 11th finds that Jack is surprised to hear about Kyle’s plans to marry Summer. Rey and Arturo have positive news for once while Tessa’s future is looking very bleak.

The Young and the Restless Recap: Jack and Phyllis Go Over Wedding Plans, Tessa Is Arrested

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) stops by to talk to Jack (Peter Bergman) about their children, Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer (Hunter King). Phyllis is on board with their plans to get married. Jack, meanwhile, thinks that Kyle isn’t thinking correctly. He knows that his son’s heart belongs to Lola (Sasha Calle). The subject then changes and Jack tells Gina that because of her, Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) kids might grow up without a mother. Phyllis hits back and says that she didn’t want to be at Victoria’s house the night of JT Hellstrom’s death. She also doesn’t want to be held responsible for what happened. She insists she didn’t have anything to do with the murder.

Back at home, Summer texts Kyle to come over for breakfast. She’s dressed in sexy lingerie.

At the hospital, Arturo (Jason Canela) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) finally have good news. A donor has been found for their sister, Lola. The doctor tells him that the donor wishes to remain anonymous. Kyle appears. He reads Summer’s text messages but tells her that he can’t meet her.

Summer then appears and tells everyone that she has some news to share. Arturo and Rey thank Kyle for all of the work he’s done in finding a donor. Kyle then tells everyone that he and Summer are getting married. Arturo is livid. He tells Kyle that he never wants to see him around his sister again. Kyle is left in shock.

Rey and Arturo then get together and talk about Rey’s marital problems. Arturo says he was surprised to hear Rey confess that he loved Sharon (Sharon Case) in court. Arturo then asks his brother if he has a death wish. He knows what kind of temper Mia has. Rey explains that their marriage has been on the rocks for a long time now.

At Crimson Lights, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) review everything that has happened so far. Tessa thinks that she should go on GC Buzz to complain about how unfairly she has been treated in the courtroom so far. Suddenly, the Genoa City Police Department arrive. Without warning, Tessa is put in handcuffs and arrested. Mariah is left in tears.
