Meghan took Prince Harry away from his home and cultivated the use of the royal family for commercial purposes, which Queen Elizabeth was staunchly against.
The Princess of Wales is a team player. She knows her role in the royal family and faithfully contributes to its success. Wife, mother, Princess, and patron, she is the epitome of class and dignity.
Meghan is seen as a threat to the monarchy. She’s a narcissist and master manipulator who always spins the narrative in her favor, no matter what the truth is.
The Duchess of Sussex is said to have a mouthpiece, Omid Scobie. In the Dutch version of his book, “Endgame,” he named Kate Middleton and King Charles as the “royal racists,” who supposedly wondered how dark Prince Archie’s skin would be once he was born.
This scenario was presented during Harry and Meghan’s infamous March 2021 interview with Oprah. Meghan claimed that there were “conversations” and “concerns” about their child’s skin color. She made the royal family sound like a bunch of ignorant racists.
The main difference is how much Kate respects the institution she serves. On the other hand, Meghan has taken every opportunity to undermine the monarchy and spread vicious lies and rumors.
It is the royal divide between someone who wants to play the game instead of someone who aims to change it.
Kate Handled Her Negative Press By Ignoring It
Of course, Kate had her share of negative publicity as well. Before Prince William and Princess Catherine tied the knot, Kate was dubbed “Waity Katey.”
The media speculated that she had set her sights on William long before they met and had bided her time waiting to become a royal.
However, Kate and Meghan have handled their controversial reputations very differently. Meghan leaned into the press and gave interviews talking trash about the royals, while Kate kept her head down and performed her royal duties.
The tabloids responded to Meghan because she often broke royal protocol. And the Duchess not only embraced the publicity, but she also invited it—anything to bring attention to herself.
Some say that Meghan Markle made Princess Kate cry over Princess Charlotte’s flower girl dress before her wedding, while others swear it’s the other way around.
Kate is seen as a symbol of the status quo—the shining example of an English Princess. Meghan represented a new dawn for the royal family, bringing it into the modern era.
But instead of contributing, Meghan bolted at the first sign that things wouldn’t go her way. However, some have said that Kate lacks true character and is made or crafted perfectly by design.
While it is true that Kate is conservative and doesn’t like to break the rules, Meghan went into the royal family believing that she could alter centuries of long-established tradition to suit her purposes and come out of it smelling like a rose.
