There is a secret offer in the works that King Charles wants to extend to President Trump that could make the U.S. “royal” again.
When Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer delivered a letter from the King to Trump last month, the president said that the King was
“a beautiful man, a wonderful man.”
Trump Was Reportedly Angry That King Charles Welcomed Zelensky And Felt “Less Special” About His Upcoming State Visit
However, when Trump saw pictures of the King with Ukrainian President Zelensky, it made him feel “less special” about the monarch’s invitation to come to Balmoral for a second state visit. Trump was reportedly furious that Charles hosted Zelensky in Sandringham.
The King’s show of solidarity came after the ridiculous meltdown Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance had at the Oval Office a couple of weeks ago.
Zelensky, whose country is being demolished by Russian dictator Putin, was accused of “not saying thank you” and his lack of respect and gratitude when the President allegedly tried to help him and Ukraine.
Adding to Trump’s “insecurity” over the King hosting Zelensky is that Charles also defended Canada in the wake of Trump’s threats of annexation and a potential trade war.
The King recently hosted the Prime Minister of Canada, Mark Carney, in the 18th-century room at Buckingham Palace and assured Carney he had his support.
We all know Trump is divisive and only cares about exerting his power as president, but the King is a peacemaker who wants to unite everyone.
Royal insiders suggest that the King may make Trump an offer that might ease the conflict between the White House and Canada.
Plans are being made for the U.S. to become the next “associate member” of the Commonwealth. The King shares his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II’s appreciation for the “global family of nations.”
Trump Must Learn To Compromise
The Commonwealth has an association of 56 countries, with its roots in the British Empire. Its common goals include working toward peace and prosperity and preserving democracy.
Apparently, this offer is being heavily considered. The Royal Commonwealth Society made the proposals with the support of the late Queen during Trump’s first term as President, but when she passed, it failed to happen.
“This is being discussed at the highest levels,”
A member disclosed.
“It would be a wonderful move that would symbolize Britain’s close relationship with the U.S.”
Trump has great admiration for the royal family, with the exception of Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle. The President may see the benefits of accepting the offer.
The source added,
“The Commonwealth is also a great forum for resolving differences between nations, and the King has shown he’s a natural peacemaker.”
Trump has been talking about turning Canada into the 51st state. This has triggered significant conflict and put the King in an awkward position.
It’s hard to imagine Trump agreeing to anything that might bruise his fragile ego. The King will try to broker peace between nations, but Trump needs to learn to compromise. The Commonwealth aims to promote mutual understanding, trade, and cooperation.
The King declared in his Commonwealth Day speech, “The Commonwealth could help restore the disrupted harmony of our entire planet.”
