The Masked Singer spoilers reveal the show is back! We’ve got a whole new bunch of contestants going for the win. So far, we’ve seen one elimination. We also, however, see some positive changes in the format. Let’s take a look at what happened and what’s teased for the October 4th episode.
The Masked Singer Spoilers: The elimination
First The Masked Singer spoilers reveal we saw the show do a great thing with season 10. They brought back what looks to be the old format. Instead of almost everyone being gone and all new characters for October 4, we’ll see four of the five from the premiere return to continue the fight to the top.
We can’t say enough how happy we are about this, as we felt the format of the past couple seasons was not only a waste of creative costumes, but didn’t give one any real time to enjoy a character and hear them evolve through multiple episodes.
That said, one person did go home last time. That would be Rubber Ducky, who turned out to be Anthony Anderson. We can’t really disagree with the choice, necessarily. Gazelle and S’more were particularly impressive.
The Masked Singer Spoilers: Who’s left
So, now we have S’more, Gazelle, Cow, and the Diver left. They’ll be joined by a new character for the second week of competition: Pickle. This feels like one of the more unique choices they’ve made for characters so far.
We’re looking forward to seeing what this new character can do. And hopefully get an explanation for this costume choice!
The Masked Singer Spoilers: What’s up for this week
As with previous seasons, The Masked Singer spoilers reveal each week has its own theme. This time, we’ll have an NFL night, and they’ve already posted a performance of S’more singing “Moves Like Jagger”.
Last week, given the mention of “step by step” in the clue package and the voice, we thought this could be Joey McIntyre of New Kids on the Block. However, after listening to the sneak peak performance, we believe this contestant’s voice isn’t quite as strong.
Commenters on the video pointed out a spot where S’more dodged a big note, and we think McIntyre could’ve handled it. Right now, the popular guess is Kevin Richardson of The Backstreet Boys.
We can get behind that. Whoever he is, we definitely feel this is a boy band member, and we’re curious to see which boy bander has jumped into the competition this time.
