Pedro Pascal, who is best known for being on the hit TV show ‘The Mandalorian‘, has given his take on the recent Kyle Rittenhouse case.

‘The Mandalorian’ Star Pedro Pascal Criticised For Calling The Deceased In The Kyle Rittenhouse Case As Being ‘Murdered’-‘Don’t Attack People’

Kyle, for his part, was declared not guilty in response to his actions which ended up killing two people and injuring one other person during protests that were held following the police shooting of Jacob Bake.

While the jury decided that he was not guilty, that verdict did not sit very well with some people. And it looks as though Pedro is an example of that such person.

In a post to his fans on Twitter, Pedro shared a picture of both people that had been shot by Kyle. The post was captioned by the following comments: “Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and Anthony Huber, 27, murdered August 25th, 2020. Rest In Peace.”

Nevertheless, some people did not take his post very well. They felt that Kyle had simply been acting in self-defence, and therefore his actions were justifiable.

And given that Pedro suggested that they had been ‘murdered’, it made Kyle appear more malevolent. One person on Twitter wrote: “Thankfully, these two were not victims, they were the perpetrators.

“Don’t attack people, and you won’t have to be killed in defence. Really that simple.” This is not the first time that Pedro has got himself involved in some controversy when it comes to making statements on social media.

According to reports, he had faced some backlash after he was caught liking a tweet that compared former United States President Donald Trump to the Nazis.

Although he was not fired from his job, some people suggested that he should have been fined at the very least. And this was seen as part of the wider cancel culture movement that has taken a hold of the entertainment industry.

The following comments, by a fan, confirmed as much: “So sad to see the right trying to cancel you. Apparently, having a different opinion is enough to try to ruin your life these days.”

It is safe to say that Pedro should stick to what he does best: making waves as an actor. If you liked reading this article, then check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish.
