Brody Jenner has opened up on how he still has a good relationship with his ex-flame Kristin Cavallari.

The duo had been ‘romantically’ involved during the early parts of their careers. Although they would go on to walk away from each other, they still have a bond that has survived the test of time. During an interview with ET Online, Brody said: “I mean, Kristin and I, we have a past. Kristin and I have dated in the past. It was always going to have chemistry between Kristin and I. I love Kristin; she’s great.”
The pair had managed to stay together for just short of a year, before they called it quits. They initially came across each other on a mutual TV show, and had Kristin stayed longer, things may have turned out differently. One of Brody’s friends, Spencer Pratt, remarked at what could have been. He stated: “I think if we had Kristin for, like, a month then, you know… some serious romances would’ve gone down.”
Kristin has, since then, had a complete turnaround. She went on to hook up with Jay Cutler and shared several kids. Although that relationship broke down towards the tail end of their time together, they are still on good terms. This has been due to the co-parenting arrangements that have been set up. Not only that, but Kristin has now moved on with her new flame Jeff Dye.
The latter is a comedian, and the duo have been spotted kissing each other several times. Despite the conclusive evidence of a relationship, they have not come out and made an announcement. But as for Kristin’s time with Brody, she was very direct. She commented: “I dated Brody when I was 18, right after Laguna Beach, actually, and that’s it.”
The duo are set to be reunited on The Hills: New Beginnings. This will, no doubt, throw up an interesting dynamic as they have both come of age. Regardless of what ultimately transpires, fans will be tuning in to see exactly how the duo will communicate. It promises a lot, but whether it will deliver is anyone’s guess.
