‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers find that star Darin Brooks is a busy, busy man. Besides appearing on the long-running B&B, he is also lending his voice to ‘The Croods: Family Tree’ as Guy- the role that was originated in the movie by Ryan Reynolds.
Now Darin has announced he has been working on a new series in Utah for Apple TV+ called Amber Brown.
Oh, and he has another daughter due soon too…phew!
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Star Darin Brooks’ (Wyatt Spencer) New Role!
On Instagram on Wednesday, Darin posted, “So happy and proud to announce this- my new Apple show I’ve been working on here in Utah: Amber Brown!”
The comedy series is an adaptation of the popular middle grade books by Paula Danziger. Actress Bonnie Hunt has adapted the books and also serves as director, executive producer and showrunner on the show!
Amber Brown is described as an “unfiltered look at a girl finding her own voice through art and music in the wake of her parents’ divorce”.
Amber Brown is a relatable kid experiencing what many children go through, but Amber tries to make sense of her new family dynamic through her sketches and video diary.
Amber’s mom is being played by Grey’s Anatomy alum, Sarah Drew (April Kepner) and Darin will be starring as Amber’s Mom’s new boyfriend, Max.
Darin continued his Instagram post by addressing his new castmates “I’m so incredibly blessed to be working with you all!”. “You’re all brilliant in this, and… all of you out there have to check it out when it drops… Keep you all posted!
Bold and Beautiful fans don’t need to worry, Wyatt isn’t going anywhere, but with so much on Darin’s plate, will Wyatt and Flo Logan (Katrina Bowden) ever get the time to walk down the aisle?
