‘The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B)’s Darin Brooks (Wyatt Spencer) is set to become a dad for the second time and the soap star announced the impending arrival in the funnest of ways on Instagram.
Posting a video of wife Kelly Kruger (ex-Mackenzie Browning, Y&R) strolling lethargically to the camera in black sweats, a caption explained that their 2 year old daughter, Everleigh had been asking for another puppy. In a flick of the blanket that had been slung across Kruger’s shoulder, she is in a form fitting dress, showing off a pronounced baby bump.

“We decided to give her a sibling instead” the caption read.
Soon Brooks and soon to be big-sis Everleigh joined Kruger in the shot, celebrating with a dance.
The video is super cute and very reminiscent of Brooks’ co-star Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s “quick change” and super-extra, OTT Instagram videos that fans can’t get enough of.
The comment section to Brooks’ announcement was quickly filled with congratulations by his Bold and the Beautiful costars like MacInnes Wood, Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra) and Tanner Novlan (John “Finn” Finnegan) offering their well wishes. Even Eric Martsolf (Brady Black) from rival soap Days of ‘our Lives left a message of congratulations.
Though Kruger looks quite far along in the tight dress, it appears the Brooks/Kruger clan kept the impending family addition tightly under wraps. Brooks’ onscreen mother, Rena Sofer (Quinn Forrester) chastised Brooks in the comments saying “Omg!!! You didn’t tell me today!! and we were talking about puppies!!! CONGRATULATIONS!! I’m so excited for you and @kellylkruger ❤️❤️❤️”
Kruger and Brooks met in Kruger’s native Montreal when the pair acted together on Brooks’ series Blue Mountain State. After Brooks was cast as Bill’s (Don Diamont) other long-lost son, Wyatt, Kruger herself later joined the show in the recurring role as Eva, Forrester International’s savvy publicist.
The gorgeous couple married in 2016 and Everleigh came along 3 years later
