‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers find that Hope actress, Annika was recently asked by Soap Opera Digest to weigh in on whether Hope should stay with her husband, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) or leave him and his adulterous ways.
So, what does she think? Annika did not mince words, telling Soap Opera Digest, “Go, go, go, go!”
She added, “I don’t believe in anyone having to ‘look the other way’ for the sake of ‘the family’.” So… pretty much the exact opposite as to how her character, Doormat Hope usually reacts.

Hope has fallen on her sword far too many times, most recently when she pushed Liam and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) together so they could be a family with their daughter, Kelly and Steffy’s adopted daughter, Phoebe. Of course, Phoebe turned out to be Beth, Liam and Hope’s stolen daughter and the couple reunited.
But being married never seems to stop Liam from ‘poking around’ and it’s not just the fans who want Hope to leave his cheating a$$ behind!
“No one should sacrifice their own self-worth and happiness for the selfishness of their partner-especially if they haven’t learned their lesson,” Annika said.
Currently Liam is putting forth a fantastic case for Hope to divorce him, admitting that he told Steffy he still loved her on the night they slept together (again). He’s also unknowingly pushing Hope onto Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) by mocking Thomas’ heroics of uncovering the DNA switch secret.
However, if (when) Hope leaves Liam for Thomas, Liam will have no one to fall back on now that Steffy is engaged to Dr. John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
Does this mean the ‘waffle king’ will finally ‘get it’ and redeem his indecisive ways? Or will a new triangle merge between Liam/Steffy/Finn or Liam/Hope/Thomas or maybe Liam/Flo/Wyatt?
Annika wouldn’t mind, as long as it means Hope and Steffy stop feuding. When asked which she prefers to film–scenes with Jacqueline when the two women are getting along or at each other’s throats–she replied, “Honestly?
Getting along. I think it’s a rarity and that’s why it’s refreshing when they can actually put aside their differences and relate on a deeper level. After all, they do have a lot in common.”
