‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers find that O.G. John McCook has portrayed many different storylines as creator of Forrester Creations, Eric Forrester. But 34 years of fashion shows, bed-hopping and many, many, many marriages later, Eric…and John…find ‘themselves’ embroiled in one of the most hotly debated storylines to date.
Taking to Instagram from his dressing room, John addressed fans, thanking them for watching and promising no matter what they think of the latest twist in his erectile dysfunction drama– Eric has given wife, Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) the hall pass to end all hall passes to be with her former lover, Carter Walton (Lawrence St. Victor)– fans should “hang in there… It’s a good story.”

“I know there are a lot of different reactions and opinions about what’s going on here right now,” McCook admitted, “but the important thing is that you’re all watching and engaged in this story.”
He continued by saying, “Eric Forrester is my friend. That’s how I think of him. He’s not me, but he’s my friend, and I’ve been with him for a lot of years. I’ve seen him through a lot of different evolutions, his happiness and his sadness, and watching him make good decisions and some decisions I don’t really agree with sometimes. But as far as this one goes, there will be a resolution one of these days.”
John again thanked loyal Bold and Beautiful fans for continuing to tune in.
Apparently it isn’t just audiences with opinions about Eric putting Carter out to stud. Quinn portrayer, Rena Sofer left a comment on the IG video saying, “You know my feelings about this story, and I think you expressed yourself in the best way possible.”
While she didn’t elaborate on what those ‘feelings’ are, she did call her screen partner “One of my favorite people ever. You are grace and class personified.”
