‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers show that the list of Daytime Emmy nominees is out, and while there are several actors and actresses from B&B on there, including Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester), Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester) and even Henry Samiri (Douglas Forrester), fans think there may have been someone missing.
There is no doubt that over the last year, Kimberlin Brown (Sheila Carter) has been a staple of the show and has dominated the storylines before eventually being lied to by Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and ultimately arrested!
It’s been the main story on the show and Brown really knocked it out of the park with her performance, so why wasn’t she nominated?
‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Did Kimberlin Brown (Sheila Carter) Get Looked Over For Emmy Nominations?
There is no doubt that a reason many people watched the show was for her. Let’s be very honest here, we’re not watching it for Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) to fall for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) for the fifth time.
While they were replaying boring stories, Sheila was creating chaos, cutting off her own toes, sleeping with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) under a new identity and shooting people. It doesn’t get much better than that on a soap!
It feels like she wasn’t truly appreciated and they don’t realize how much of the show revolved around her and now with her in prison, they will struggle to find good storylines.
Sheila, love her or hate her, made the show, so it’s a bit upsetting not seeing her represented in the Emmy nominations.
Will she be able to be nominated next year or will her character actually remain in jail this time around? We’re not sure, but it feels like she got robbed and hopefully, she’ll be able to come back and win another award because this just seems silly.
What do you think? Are you a fan of Sheila Carter and does it feel like Kimberlin Brown got robbed this year by not being Emmy nominated? Do you think that others deserved it more than she did? Let us know in the comments below.
