‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers find that star Darrin Brooks opened up to Soap Opera Digest about his most recent wedding proposal on the CBS sudser and why this one was so different from his previous ones. And oh, there were a lot of previous ones.
Darrin has worked on ‘The Bold’ since 2013. In his eight years on our screens his character, Wyatt has proposed to five different women: Hope Logan (then Kim Matula) Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) Steffy Forrester (Jacquline MacInnes Wood) Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and now…a mannequin!

No, Wyatt didn’t pull a Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and mistake a mannequin for his beloved Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden), but Covid rules on set sure made his proposal to Flo very different from his previous four.

“I asked a mannequin to marry me,” Darrin quipped. “She was so excited, in fact, she was speechless!”
Don’t worry, even Darrin cringed at his bad joke.
Turning serious, he did think it was a shame that poor Flo missed out on a spectacular proposal on a yacht in Europe, but at least the proposal wasn’t interrupted by his meddling mother, Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer)!
“It was cute and we had a good time with it,” Darrin explained to Soap Opera Digest, “but let’s hope that with things opening up again that we can get back to some kind of normalcy soon.”
And by normalcy, he means a grand destination wedding. Flo may deserve that after her proposal was in Wyatt’s father’s office…and portrayer Katrina wasn’t even present for it!
With moms like Quinn and Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards), their children’s wedding should be a grand affair, and I don’t think any viewers will mind if we get to armchair travel with the wedding party to Tuscany, or Provence, or Santorini , or…
