Hope has been struggling with her feelings for Thomas Forrester (Matt Atkinson). She has found herself attracted to him and it is getting worse as she spends so much time with him at work.
Her husband, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is worried about Hope and Thomas working together because he doesn’t trust Thomas. Thomas has been obsessed with Hope in the past and has acted inappropriately. But now, it is apparent that the person that Liam needs to worry about is his wife.
These lustful thoughts and feelings are tempting Hope in the worst way, and she doesn’t know how to deal with them. She decides to try to talk to her mother, but when she gets there, she finds Brooke with Ridge. She erupts, attacking her mother for being with Ridge behind Taylor Hayes’ (Hunter Tylo) back.

As Hope rants, Brooke realizes this frustration and distress is not about her. She knows that Hope is struggling with something, and she is projecting this on to her mother. While Hope’s words about her mother are wounding and impact Brooke, she can tell something else is going on.
She gently tries to get to the root of the issue, but Hope deflects and doesn’t share all of her feelings with her mother. She is in too much turmoil to trust her heart to her mother right now.
When Liam shows up to find Hope, Brooke knows. The question is, what course of action will she suggest to Hope? Will she tell Hope to follow her feelings and pursue Thomas because she has feelings for him?
Will she tell her to quit her job at Forrester Creations so that she can work on her marriage with Liam and cut off her interactions with Thomas? Based on her own life experience, what will she suggest?
