After being rebuffed by practically every woman he’s spoken to, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is reverting to his old habits. From Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) to Katie Logan (Heather Tom), he seemed to require a new pick-up line.
Over time, it appeared that Bill was ‘trying’ to be a better guy and to change for the better. However, it does not appear to have gone anywhere for him, or so he believes. Don Diamont personally commented on the subject to Soap Opera Digest, saying, “The exchange with Carter certainly did not help matters, either. Bill is in a really bad place, personally.”

Bill took the symbolic move of putting on his trusty sword necklace, which is more to him than just a fashion piece. Diamont went on to say, “Historically, the necklace was an object and a manifestation of who Bill Is and how Bill saw himself. He was a pirate. He took no prisoners. When he took it off, it was a big deal, and no he puts it back on because he feels things are crumbling around him.”
So, after a few more rejections, Bill is back to being a jerk. According to Diamont, there’s more to it, and it appears to be related to his family. “There are many factors that have gone into this decision, but in the back of BIll’s mind, he still does believe that if he can get his family back, then that will save him and he can avoid falling into a deep, dark chasm, where he has never been before,”
I’m not sure about any of that. It appears to me that all you need to do is be a great person, live your life, and avoid bothering everyone. It also appears that they may form a partnership with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and discover love in prison!
