After having become newly engaged on the season finale of The Bachelorette, Katie Thurston and Blake Moynes have wasted no time in making new memories together.

Katie and Blake confessed their love for each other, which put an end to the recent drama we had seen with Greg Grippo’s dramatic exit. While some of the show’s former stars have questioned Blake as a man, that being Ashley Iaconetti, the pair could not be any happier.
And so it showed, as Katie made sure she showed just how much she loved Blake during a celebration of his birthday. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Katie shared a picture of herself and Blake kissing passionately. They are both wearing party hats, and a huge cake is visible with some candles on the worktop.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “Happy fucking birthday, honey bear! What a wild couple of months it has been. I couldn’t have done this without you. I’m so ready to leave these bubbles and start living our life! I couldn’t ask for a better partner.”
So clearly, Katie is very happy with Blake, but what do her family think about him? Well, given what we saw in the finale of the show, we do not have much to go on. During the finale, Katie’s mother and her auntie had questioned Blake about where he wanted to live with Katie.
Not only that, but they also asked him how he would approach the concept of marriage. With neither of them providing an answer, the jury is still out. Having said all that, it seems Katie has worked out those answers.
She added: “You are kind, patient [and] understanding…I’m so lucky to call you my fiancé. My best friend. My confidant. We are just two weirdos laughing our way through life together. Cheers to the upcoming adventures! Next stop… CANADA!” It is wonderful to see the couple being so happy. They have been through a lot during the show. But given that it has now ended, they can focus on planning their future together.
