‘The Bachelorette’ newest affianced couple, Michelle Young and Nayte Olukoya have only just been able to go public with their engagement. However, it seems they haven’t just been sitting on their laurels as they awaited season 18 of The Bachelorette to air so they could shout their love for each other from the mountain tops.
Already the pair confirmed to host, Kaitlyn Bristowe that they have been house hunting in Minnesota. Though this means Nayte will be making a big move, all the way from Texas, he will, in fact, be moving closer to his family who live in Winnipeg, Canada.
‘The Bachelorette’: Michelle Young and Nayte Olukoya Have Already Begun Wedding Planning
The pair’s house-hunting got a little easier when they were presented with a $200K check to use as a down payment from ABC during the After the Final Rose live special.
Now Michelle and Nayte have shared a few details about their upcoming nuptials:
- They will be soon
- They will be somewhere warm.
Nayte opened up to E!News, saying the couple have agreed upon a summer wedding, adding they are “looking in the near future.”
Michelle added, “I’m from Minnesota. He grew up in Winnipeg. You know, cold, snow – it’s beautiful, especially around this time of year, but definitely for wedding vibes, we prefer to have the sun shining and no snow on the ground.”
It sounds to us like this coming summer we might just see Michelle and Nayte strolling down a sandy aisle in some exotic location…so long as Covid doesn’t get in the way.
We imagine both Michelle and Nayte’s moms are helping with the plans and comparing notes. It was revealed on After the Final Rose that the two have bonded, discussing the episodes of The Bachelorette over the phone after each one aired.
Apparently everything is …ahem… coming up roses for Michelle and Nayte. Call us optimists, but it seems like this one just might stick!
