‘The Bachelor’ spoilers find that just as the new season of the Bachelor has started, there are rumors going around about who will be the next Bachelor on the hit ABC show. The rumors have started flying that Ben Smith could be in the running for the next Bachelor.
He was one of the final contestants left on the Bachelorette, but Tayshia Adams ended up giving another man the final rose.
He was sent home after the hometown dates, but got back on the show to propose to Tayshia. Many fans of the show think that he deserves another chance at finding love and they think that he should be the next Bachelor lead.

Just recently, Ben appeared on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s podcast, Off the Vine. This podcast is all about Bachelor Nation and he explained to his fans how he was feeling about these rumors. He told Bristowe that he has plans in the future, but knows that something great will end up happening for him.

He then told her, “I never had any intentions of doing anything more.” It was so hard to watch him get sent home and he poured out his heart to Tayshia when he came back for her. She even told cameras that she sent him home because of the lack of emotion that he showed her. “I’m not asking for this grand gesture, but the fact he couldn’t give me one ounce of emotion was extremely disappointing.” Before she sent him home, he told her, “I’ve never felt this feeling, but I’m in love with you.”
When Ben went back onto the show to tell Tayshia just how much he loved her, things got intense. After feeling that he had no emotions, she was forced to choose again and Ben had made this proclamation of his love to her.
This put her in a very odd situation and none like we’ve ever seen before on the show. One thing led to another and he was not the final rose.
At the end of the season, fans were impressed with his love for her and that is when the “Ben for Bachelor” campaigns all began.
Clearly Ben doesn’t know if this is next for him, but there are other fans that say he could at least be on Bachelor in Paradise this coming season. Who knows what will happen with Ben, but we do hope that we get to see him again soon.
