‘The Bachelor’ spoilers find that season 26 was a season of snoozes, Susie and Shenae-negans and culminated in The. Most. Dramatic. Finale. Ever.

Starting slow (the snoozes), fans of the ABC empire couldn’t quite get on board with Captain Cardboard Clayton who struggled to show any sort of personality…or awareness when it came to which women REALLY weren’t there for the right reasons (the Shenae-negans).

Enter Susie Evans and audiences finally hopped on board with the twists thrown their way in the final two episodes (and After the Final Rose special).

‘The Bachelor’ Spoilers: Two Major Twists And Two Bachelorettes Announced During Season 26 Finale

ICYMI, Captain Cardboard Clayton promised that, even though he (boned and) loved all of his three finalists, he loved Hannah B., err… Susie the most. Susie was eliminated after having the nerve to tell her boyfriend she wasn’t so cool with that but ended up coming back when producers convinced her that–now he’d already slept with Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia– Clayton wanted her to stay.

Stay she did, and Clayton dutifully went off to tell Gabby and Rachel that (now he’d slept with them) he was over it and Susie was the one and “sayonara”!

Clayton popped the question, Susie said “no”, (plot twist one!) Clayton sat on an iceberg and cried and fans realized it was three months of their lives they’d never get back.

Enter the After the Final Rose special and Susie and Clayton announced that they’d rekindled off-camera and all was well in the world. Oh, we’re back to the snoozes.

Never fear though, as this is where twist number two comes in as host, Jesse Palmer announced that he and Clayton are NOT the same person he will continue hosting the next Bachelorette season and the leading lady will be… Gabby and Rachel.

While ABC was likely trying to be edgy and mix things up, they’ve only proven yet again that they really can’t trust one woman to do the job (Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe as co-hosts vs. Jesse Palmer as host anyone?)

At least this time Gabby and Rachel won’t be pitted against one another like Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe were at the beginning of season 19- where the men got to choose which woman they wanted to be their lead (Kaitlyn) as the sent Britt packing.

    It was gross.

Season 19 of The Bachelorette(s) premieres Monday, July 31.
