The Bachelor season 25 was a pretty controversial one. Okay, massively controversial. It makes sense that some of the women on the show, who’s shot at becoming famous…er,

I mean finding love was overshadowed by the long laundry list of s***storms, would want to find a different way to gain fame, I mean meet their match…no really, I mean find fame.

Four favorites from the Matt James led crap-a-palooza have banned together in New York and it looked like Kit Keenan, Chelsea Vaughn, Abigail Heringer and Pieper James were set to start a podcast or some other type of collaboration that spoofed on HBO’s hit Sex and the City.

‘The Bachelor’: Season 25 Contestants Receive Cease and Desist Orders.

Hours later all mention of the collab, called Exes and the City, had disappeared from the internet.

Well, except that this is the internet, and everything your mother ever warned you about it true- you can never REALLY remove anything from online!

Instagram account @bachrecap snagged one of the teaser photos before it was deleted of the four ladies strutting their stuff in a very obvious spoof of Sex and the City.

If this picture and the title wasn’t copyright infringe-y enough, they also ripped off one of Sex and the City’s taglines about “four single 20-somethings living in the city.”

Still trying to be contacted by Sex and the City’s lawyers? The women made an Instagram account for the project and added stills from the HBO show as well as  a promo calling the Sex and the City characters out by name, likening them to each other before they announced they’d be going live on Thursday.

This can still be found on @bachelor_dishes_the-dirt  Instagram account (and by clicking here)

However, with all references to Exes and the City scrubbed from Kits, Pieper’s Abigail’s and Chelsea’s accounts, it can only mean one of two things has happened. HBO sent them a cease and desist, stopping them from ripping off their product or ABC put a stop to it as the ladies would all still be under contract.

Either way—these girls are in trooooouuuuble …I wonder what it means for Paradise?
