Telemundo Operación Pacífico spoilers indicate Amalia Ortega (Majida Issa) is having a rough time of it. Besides her professional complications, there’s family stuff going on. This led to a bit of an uncomfortable moment with the boss. Let’s take a look at how things went down.

Telemundo Operación Pacífico Spoilers: Work problems

The hunt for Rodolfo “El Guapo” Espinosa Roldán (Julio Bracho) is filled with problems. There’s been a lost infiltrator, an undercover mission that didn’t go as planned, plus a lost suspect. And that’s not even all of it. Thursday’s episode was the worst.

So, they ended up infiltrating some more bad guys, with Gabriel Pedraza (Mark Tacher) playing the part of a guy they’d captured. Operación Pacífico spoilers indicate a series of events led to him and Amalia being exposed as fakes. Thanks to quick thinking, they and the team held off an attack at home, but there were consequences.

Telemundo Operación Pacífico Spoilers: Bait and switch

The team’s been after a guy called Mr. M (Jorge Enrique Abello), who they believe will lead them to El Guapo. On Thursday, it appeared they had him. Unfortunately, the evidence wasn’t enough and they were ordered to let him go. This did not sit well with General Álvaro López (Ernesto Benjumea). He called her a disappointment, which really got to Amalia. Operación Pacífico spoilers reveal this turned into an accusation of sexism, but we’re gonna have to disagree. Here’s why.

Telemundo Operación Pacífico Spoilers: Too much

First off, we gotta defend the work a moment. It’s not Amalia’s fault this stuff went wrong. They’ve got a corrupt Major (Ernesto Vargas, played by Christian Tappan) selling them out at every turn. Plus, one of her team was the genius who let a prisoner end up with a tool to escape. That’s not being a woman, that’s just plain bad luck and corruption. But we see where the General is coming from and agree Amalia needs a time out.

During the episode, we saw her have a breakdown following the reprimand. The DA, Helena (Katherine Vélez), was actually great with Amalia. She listened as Amalia broke down how her marriage is falling apart, her kid has PTSD that resulted in him beating up another kid, and she’s now in trouble at work. Nothing is going right. Given all this, plus the fact her family was recently a target, it’d actually be sensible for her to be off the case. It’s not that she can’t handle her job, but there are situations where you do need to step aside and we think this is one.

If she did, however, we wouldn’t have a show, as she’s the protagonist. So, things will continue to go on as they are. Especially now that they think they’ve captured Mr. M (Jorge Lopez) for real. This was a last-minute save when the documentation didn’t match up. What they don’t know is, he’s actually not Mr. M. He’s a decoy named Hector Pulido. We’re sure Amalia will somehow get the blame for that as well.
