But when he called Loli about the results, he made an impulsive choice to say otherwise. Of course, he had to leave it on her voice mail, but it’s still a terrible call.
That judge is going to want to see the paperwork to prove it, so he better hope he knows a good forger if he wants to keep this farce going.
On the plus side, he’s being partly motivated by concern for Nicky’s reaction. Not to mention, his own growing affection for the kid. We also detected a little divine intervention with this choice.
A butterfly magically appeared and disappeared right before and after, and he even talked to it. Butterflies can symbolize a visit from a deceased person, which makes us think Mariana Torres Tovar (Jaqueline Bracamontes) likes him.
