Sofia was happy about the development, and it looks like they’re back on track. We just hope Sofia’s luck in love is far better than Teresa’s. Because something tells us luck is exactly what Sofia needs most.

Elsewhere, we recently learned the Black Horseman (a DEA informant) was a woman named Karen. Who Teresa just happened to have contact with while infiltrating Abel Quispe’s (Jorge Hidalgo) operation. Now we know why Karen is a traitor to him and wants that gold. She’s actually a victim, much like the women Teresa and the others rescued.
In fact, Karen is so angry and desperate for revenge, she tricked him into revealing where his gold is, then took him hostage with the help of her corrupt cop amante. She took a lot of glee in letting her true feelings out, but she wasn’t expecting Teresa and the others to interrupt her revenge. That brings us to tonight.

After getting ambushed by Teresa and her team, La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal Karen has to answer everyone’s questions. While this seems like a good thing that will wrap things up for Teresa, this won’t be the case. Thanks to the police in Bolivia, Teresa’s been located.
DEA agents and likely others will surround the area where Teresa and the others are interrogating Karen. In the promo, we see them trying to escape the authorities. While it’s obvious they’ll get away, it should be interesting to see how they accomplish it—and whether they lose Karen in the process.
