Telemundo La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal we won’t be seeing a new episode on the 24th, but it looks like they’ll be giving us quite a holiday cliffhanger as Teresa Mendoza (Kate del Castillo) and the rest continue what they started last time. Also, let’s talk about Paloma Aljarafe (Ágata Clares) a minute.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: Sacrifice

First, La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal Paloma really showed who she is last time. With the DEA after them, and her son having said he didn’t want to leave, she made a choice. Paloma left her son at the convent in the care of Faustino Sánchez Godoy’s (Lincoln Palomeque) cousin. We have to give her credit for doing what she felt was right, and she did make a good choice. After all, Sofia Dantes (Isabella Sierra) is a perfect example of what happens when you are on the run with a kid. All kinds of terrible things can happen.

On another note, we think it was the better choice, story-wise. Too many times, small kids have been more of an annoyance to us in telenovelas. And the more front and center the kid is, the worse it gets. Sofia was one of those rare exceptions for us.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: The Hypocrite King

Elsewhere, we found more reason to hate Epifanio Vargas (Humberto Zurita) last time. After arranging for the death of his mistress and father-in-law, Epifanio tried to take some moral high ground. He insisted Genoveva Alcalá (Kika Edgar) face the press with him moments after identifying her father’s body. Okay, he gets a point for not making her talk, but he loses far more for what he said.

He actually stood there and mourned Antonio Alcalá (Eduardo Yáñez), making him sound like a saint on earth despite the fact they didn’t like each other. And he, you know, kept Antonio from his daughter all this time. Then, he lectured the press for being trash after they reported exactly what he himself wanted leaked to ruin Antonio’s reputation. Seriously, we are just counting the days until Epifanio gets his.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: Tonight

Finally, La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal Teresa, Oleg Yosikov (Antonio Gil), Pablo Landero (Pêpê Rapazote), and César “Batman” Güemes (Alejandro Calva) ambushed a truck driver last time, and tonight we’ll see them use that to gain access to the factory. They’ll go to extreme methods to get cooperation in their mission to rescue those girls, too.

They won’t be doing this alone, though. From afar, Fedor Yosikov (Víctor Rebull) will be helping direct the operation. Sounds like another win for the Rookie, and we really hope he’ll make it through the season.

She’s a recent Days of Our Lives convert, having grown up on the nighttime shows of the '90s. She’s also an accomplished writer in many fields, including paranormal fiction. Jamie loves the crazy twists that Soap Opera writers come up with, even though she's sometimes yelling at the characters. As a published and accomplished writer, she knows how to get into the minds of the writers and is usually bang on in predicting plot twists before they come to life. When she’s not writing for Daily Soap Dish, Jamie binge watches telenovelas as a way to improve her Spanish. They also fuel her muse, which tends to upset her readers.
