Telemundo La Doña spoilers indicate Lucho Navarrete (Bernardo Flores) is a disgusting, yet oddly fascinating character. We hate the way they’re almost making him look like a victim. Yeah, his mom’s a nutcase who warped him. Still, lots of people grow up with screwed up parents and don’t turn into murderers who hunt women for sport. The latest, though, is part of why we find him so fascinating. Here’s what you need to know.

    La Doña spoilers: The latest

In the Friday, February 21st episode, we saw his come undone. He got loaded and passed out at home, then ended up falling asleep. Leonora Navarrete (Alejandra Barros) saved him from getting an earful from José Luis Navarrete (David Zepeda). But was it really a good thing?

So, Lucho’s had a bad habit of skipping out on work lately. How’s a guy supposed to focus when he’s got a friend hostage, are we right? Let’s not forget he’s being blackmailed to kill more for profit, as someone is selling the videos. Looks like the pressure got to him. When Leonora woke him after sending José Luis away, he lost it. La Doña spoilers indicate he not only confessed to being a Rainbow, but the leader of the Rainbows. It gets even better.

La Doña spoilers: The Blame Game

He went into full-on blame mode. He seemed completely unhinged as he talked about how he chooses women that looked like her because of how she treated him. Also, he blamed the way she’d speak about his father’s affairs and other women. Basically? He said she taught him to hate women. It’s a crazy situation, and Leonora didn’t react well. She ended up with her head over a toilet, unable to take what she learned. So, what led to this breakdown?

    La Doña spoilers: Guilty conscience

Before he went off on mom, he’d gotten loaded to deal with the pain over Eduardo Pérez’s (Agustín Argüell) death. He had a flashback where he remembered the day he brought his friend in on his murderous scheme. Obviously, he’s able to feel something, so we guess he’s not a total sociopath. And he had a good reason to blame himself.

Because of Lucho’s habit of filming, those videos got into the wrong hands and he became reluctant partners with someone almost as twisted: Romelia Vega (Kika Edgar). He then made the choice to bring her and her associate to the hideout he kept Eduardo in. They tried to convince Lucho Eduardo needed to die.

While he didn’t allow them to kill him, it still happened. Eduardo was so warped himself, he was seeing visions of their victims. This drove him mad and made Eduardo convince Lucho was going to take him out as he had Fernando “Nando” Valles (Cuauhtli Jiménez). He attempted to escape, and in a moment of panic, Romelia shot him. We’re still disgusted with this character, but we’re actually starting to see the humanity under the surface, and we can’t wait to find out what’s next.
