So, the season began only a few weeks after the events of the first season. Roxana Rodiles (Fernanda Castillo) is on the run after admitting to her brother, Alejandro Ferrer (Raúl Méndez), she’s The Professor. She’d managed to evade him, which led to trouble for Alejandro at work. Soon, the action jumped ahead two years.
In the new timeline, Roxana had time to rebuild the cartel and get herself back on top. Alejandro has continued to search for her all these years, and no one has been able to find her. Sadly for her, she ran into complications and that led to her being ultimately captured by the man she’d let down. The episode left off with her at gunpoint, although they obviously aren’t going to get rid of one of the two main stars. At least, not this fast! To prove the point, she had some unexpected help tonight. See, Enemigo íntimo spoilers reveal Roxana had a financial deal with a hotel owner. This ended up going bad when the police caught on to him and surrounded the building. The thing is, Roxana was not alone. She just didn’t realize it.
A man, Martín Ustariz (Aitor Luna), suddenly stepped into the room and warned her the cops were outside. Then, he injected her former business partner with something and created a diversion. This, with a little luck and fast thinking, allowed her to evade her brother and the rest. That brings us to a little problem we’ve got here.

In the previous season, Alejandro wasn’t known for being particularly ethical in his dealings. As in, he’d use whatever force he felt necessary to get someone to talk. He’d even turned those tactics on Roxana before he realized she’s his sister. However, he’s not above doing whatever he has to do catch her. He doesn’t see her as his sister anymore, just The Professor.
We think him being involved in that operation at the beginning was a huge mistake. As is letting him continue to work the search for her. Alejandro is too connected, which doesn’t lend itself well to clear thinking and good work. His boss even expressed doubts, but for whatever reason, he’s still in this thing. From a writing standpoint, it makes sense and increases the drama. From a realistic aspect? Not a chance that would happen. We’re curious to see if he will succeed, or if he’ll realize he should step down.

Telemundo Enemigo Intimo Spoilers: What’s up tonight
As for tonight, we’ll see a familiar character mentioned. Ana Mercedes Calicio (María del Carmen Félix) will be used to get Roxana’s compliance. We’ll also see her mysterious savior wanting to invest in the business.
