We knew from early on there were issues in this family. Arzu Soyer (Esra Ronabar) complained to Sema that she’s always making comments about her life and what she does. Because of Arzu’s obvious shady behavior, she’s been investigating. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like her work is doing any good.

Sema thought she had a perfect plan. She got plenty of photos of Arzu secretly meeting with Cengiz Arısoy (Şencan Güleryüz). Plus, she learned that Arzu isn’t even her real name. With that information in hand, she planned a family breakfast that was all about spilling the truth. It should’ve been a dream moment for her, watching Arzu fall off her pedestal a bit. Unfortunately for her, it looks like Mahir has no scruples at all.

After revealing to her husband and son that Arzu’s been lying about her past, Mahir looked shocked and upset. Honestly, he never wanted to be with her to begin with. His father pushed him into it, much like everything else in his life. Learning this woman he’s forced to be with is a liar had to be a huge blow. But there was something worse.
Cennet spoilers indicate Mahir knows that Arzu lied about her real name. In fact, he proudly admitted to helping her change it. Because Arzu wanted to get free of her past, and he thought she should be able to make that choice. Oddly enough, he didn’t seem to care about his son not knowing his wife’s real name. It just shows the level of control he wields in that family, as well as how little he cares about his son’s happiness. Still, we think there’s trouble ahead for these two.

Telemundo Cennet Spoilers: Fighting back
Sema was furious about this. She got even more upset when she found out the photos she had hidden were missing. And to make things worse, Mahir is slowly losing it over the control his father has over them all.
Honestly, we expect these two to have enough. The likely scenario we see is Sema telling Mahir about the pictures. And we believe they’ll work together to do whatever is needed to get rid of Arzu. Since Mahir found out what Arzu did to his real love, he’ll be even more motivated to get her out of the way. And we don’t blame him.
