Cennet spoilers indicate Arzu Soyer (Esra Ronabar) is even crazier than we believed. She’s spent most of the episodes so far obsessing over Cennet Yılmaz (Almila Ada) and her motives. It looks like people should worry a little more about hers. In last night’s episode, she proved how badly she needs some professional help. Here’s what you need to know.

Cennet spoilers: Marriage trouble
One of the aspects of this show we haven’t gotten into yet is the relationship between Arzu and her husband, Mahir Soyer (Hazım Körmükçü). She proudly struts around the family company, but it seems like things aren’t going so well at home. There is obvious tension between them, and it seems right now Arzu is more invested in making an effort than he is. And from what we’ve seen of Arzu, we can see why. Plus, she’s obviously been hiding a secret all this time, as she is so paranoid about Cennet being around their family. Not that it excuses what happened Wednesday.
Cennet spoilers: Stepping out
It looks as though the tension at home led him to stray. Specifically, he’s been sleeping with Özlem Arısoy (Ebru Destan), a friend of the family. It’s a cowardly move to on his part not to face things head-on and either end things, or fix them. However, he still did it. And Cennet spoilers indicate Arzu knows now.
She was all dressed up and looking ready to hit the town when she checked his phone. It turns out, Özlem was messaging to meet up. Arzu replied to the message to learn where they’re meeting, then deleted the message. She wanted to confront the mistress herself. It was sort of a tense, yet amusing scene to start with. The awkwardness was off the charts. And they sat silently for the longest time. It’s a style we’re not used to these days, as most productions now wouldn’t drag that out so long. But, as justified as Arzu is in being angry, we think she went way too far.

Cennet spoilers: Off the charts
So, the level of crazy and vindictive was off the charts. When they started fighting about the affair and Arzu wasn’t taken seriously enough, she decided to tip things in her favor. Cennet spoilers reveal she broke a bottle, then threatened Özlem with it. After making her point, Arzu took things into insane territory. She hurt herself with the bottle. Then, she threatened to tell the cops Özlem tried to kill her unless she took off now. Obviously, Özlem obliged. However, Arzu wasn’t done.
After making a big deal about how she won’t tell anything if Özlem leaves, Arzu called the in-laws and cried up a storm about the evil mistress who tried to kill her. Then, she begged them not to get the authorities involved, as she doesn’t want a huge scandal hurting the family. This seems a perfect revenge on Mahir. His father, Rıza Soyer (Ali İpin) is furious. He left Arzu and Sema Soyer (Ebru Nil Aydın) alone at the hotel to track down and confront his cheating son. Riza called Mahir out for his behavior, than made a big point of reminding him that he is the owner of this company, not Mahir. Everything Mahir has is because of him. Looks like someone will be kept on a tight leash from now on.
