Cennet spoilers indicate Arzu Soyer (Esra Ronabar) is insane. And she’s apparently a bit unpredictable. We figured once she realized Cennet Yilmaz (Almila Ada) is her daughter she gave up, she might actually favor her at the company. We couldn’t have been more wrong. In fact, she’s even gotten into it with Melisa’s obsession, Selim Arisoy (Berk Atan), over her actions. Here’s what you need to know.

Cennet spoilers: Confirmed
With Selim MIA, Arzu didn’t have access to the files she wanted to see Cennet’s last name. After learning that Selim accompanied Cennet to the hospital because of the fire, Arzu decided to go herself and see if the grandmother Selim rescued was her mother. The confirmation looked like a huge shock for her, although we’re wondering how Cennet and Mukaddes Yilmaz (Güler Ökten) didn’t notice her standing there when they walked right by. Or when Arzu followed them home. But this confirmation only created a huge disaster.
Cennet spoilers: Losing it
As we mentioned, Arzu was in total shock at seeing her mother and realizing the new hire is her daughter. She didn’t handle it well at all, and we think it shows what type of person she might be. Her first instinct was to believe that Cennet came to the company on purpose with ulterior motives.
Determined to get ahead of things, Arzu confronted poor Cennet and demanded to know what she wants. Cennet was obviously at a loss and had no idea why Arzu was being so harsh with her. That confusion just made Arzu nuttier. She fired Cennet and demanded she stay far away from the company and Arzu’s family. It nearly led to a tragedy.
Cennet spoilers reveal Cennet was so upset about the firing, she behaved recklessly. She didn’t watch where she’s going and almost got hit by a car. That seems to be a theme here, because the same almost happened in episode one. Girl needs someone to escort her at all times, or she’s going to get flattened one of these days. Lucky for her, Selim was there. And now he’s her biggest champion.

Cennet spoilers: Company war
As the head of his department, Selim didn’t take Cennet’s firing well. He didn’t get input, first off. Secondly, he’s confused as can be about the decision. Cennet does good work, and Arzu was just praising her not long ago. What started as a way for Arzu to protect herself from her secret coming out, might be her undoing.
Selim confronted her himself and insisted Cennet isn’t going anywhere. At a meeting later in the episode, Arzu tried to tell a video participant about Cennet’s firing, but Selim interrupted and agreed about how valuable Cennet is, promising she’ll be back soon. Selim even visited Cennet’s home to help her with the post-fire repairs. So if Arzu thought Cennet was out of her, and Melisa’s way, she thought wrong. If anything, it’s bringing Cennet and Selim closer together. And making Arzu look more unbalanced and strange by the minute.
