Taylor Swift has been scrutinised after the star was accused of mass pollution through the use of her private jet, as she topped the list of worst Co2 emitters.
According to Yard, which happens to be a marketing agency, the singer’s private jet had been used 170 times from January to June. While that may be the case, it appears that there was an innocent explanation for all of this.
Taylor Swift Labeled Worst Co2 Emitter As Her Private Jet Use Is Scrutinised
It turns out that Taylor was not the only person that used the jet. With that being said, it is more accurate to state that the findings included numerous people who had used her jet.
In an official statement on behalf of Taylor, a representative said the following: “Taylor’s jet is loaned out regularly to other individuals. To attribute most or all of these trips to her is blatantly incorrect.” Taylor is not the only celebrity to have recently been implicated in something like this.
Initially, Kylie Jenner was branded a ‘climate criminal’ on the grounds that she had apparently taken a 3-minute private flight. Not only that, but Drake was alleged to have done the same thing with claims he had used his jet for a 14-minute flight, something which he later addressed as the jet being moved to another airport.
And all of this suggests that there is a serious attempt to focus on the carbon footprint being exhibited by people. Regardless of this case, it appears that the fans on social media had a different take on matters.
This was on the basis that Taylor was ultimately enjoying her life due to the success that she had achieved. Therefore, she had every right to do what she wanted. One person wrote: “She earned a jet she should use it all she wants. People should mind their own business.”
It is safe to say that the fans have backed Taylor on this one. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
