The “Deadpool” drama starring Ryan Reynolds and T.J. Miller has failed miserably. After Miller claimed that Reynolds was “horrifically mean” to him on set, the comedian revealed that his former co-star emailed him. Reynolds was described as “cool” and a “good dude” by Miller, 41, on Wednesday’s episode of SiriusXM’s “Jim Norton & Sam Roberts Show.”

Miller said, “It was very cool for him to say, ‘Hey, you know, I just heard … that you were upset about this.’ And I kind of said, ‘You know, I’m not,’ and then we sort of hashed it out quickly.” Miller said he “feels bad” about how his on-set account was “misconstrued” as a result of his “Adam Corolla Show” podcast interview going viral.

He “wasn’t really saying anything negative” about Reynolds, the “Silicon Valley” alum clarified. Miller explained, “He is so funny, which I always maintained. I said all these complimentary things and none of that shows up. So that’s really a bummer.”

After a “really weird” encounter with the “Green Lantern” actor, the screenwriter declared in the Oct. 5 episode that he would “not work with [Reynolds] again,” even if he were paid “twice as much” for a “Deadpool 3” role.

Co-star Alice Wetterlund accused Miller of being a bully on the “Silicon Valley” set via Twitter in 2018, which he refuted. “She may have had that experience, but it’s … just people trying to get into the headlines. It was not my experience that anyone was bullying her.”

Who knows, maybe Miller will appear in Deadpool 3 now and I’m sure many Ryan Reynolds fans are breathing a sigh of relief hearing that he is indeed a good guy and has reached out to Miller about the miscommunication.

What do you think? Are you a fan of Ryan Reynolds and are you glad that he reached out to Miller after all this time and will you be watching Deadpool 3? Let us know in the comments below.
