John Fincher may be getting divorced from Parvati Shallow, but that does not mean that things are going to be finalised easily.
Survivor’s John Fincher Has Been Cleared Of Domestic Violence
The star, who is best known for being on the hit TV show ‘Survivor,’ has been accused of domestic violence by none other than Parvati.
While he has denied doing anything of the sort, an accusation is enough to turn someone’s life into turmoil, which is something that he has gone on to find out.
In response, his attorney ( Joy Dracup Stanley) has denied that his client has been doing such things. In an official statement given to Us Weekly, Joy said: “Ms Shallow’s false allegations of domestic violence were truly unfortunate.
“Temporary Domestic Violence Restraining Orders are easy to obtain and unfortunately are the most abused legal tactic.”
And the courts viewed things in the same way as they dismissed the allegations. This begs the question, why would Parvati file this claim if it was unfounded?
Well, the pair do have a three-year-old child together, and in an attempt to obtain an advantage in custody proceedings, this allegation would put Parvati at an advantage.
Joy added: “Mr Fincher categorically denies all allegations, and the dismissal speaks for itself. He has shared custody of their 3-year-old child.”
Despite the bitter divorce, looking back, it was easy to see that they would be parting ways. The duo decided to get married in 2017 and soon welcomed their child a year later.
However, problems began to emerge as they called things off by filing for divorce in August of this year. And it was then that Parvati claimed that she felt unsafe in John’s company.
Therefore, in order to keep her children safe from any harm, she believed she had no option but to act. At the time, Parvati told her fans on social media the following: “My priority now is to create a brave, loving & safe space for me and my daughter.
“So that I can show up with calm presence, strength of heart and resilience.” It is clear that the divorce was the best thing for John and Parvati, as well as their child, as their relationship was no longer tenable.
