Yesterday it was announced the NBA icon and Los Angeles Laker’s superstar Kobe Bryant was killed in a helicopter accident. He was with his daughter Gianna, the Altobelli family, Payton Chester, Sarah Chester, Christina Mauser, and Ara Zobayan. The world is still in shock and coming to grips with the tragedy. People all over the world, from all walks of life, have shown their support for the people who were lost and their families.

It’s amazing the impact one person can have on people across all backgrounds. Everyone knew who he was and only had nice things to say about him. Kobe Bryant’s legacy is cemented, and nothing will ever take that away. He is survived by his wife Vanessa, by their daughters Natalia, Bianka, and Capri and by his parents. He was 41. Gianna was 13.
