The Brown family from Sister Wives has been a staple of our TLC TV watching for years. In fact, this season will be the 17th for the family, and from what we have seen, this season promises tears, emotions, and a lot of drama.
‘Sister Wives’ Spoilers: The New Season
As the new season has come to us, we are going to learn a lot more about why Christine Brown left the marriage and how Kody Brown tried to keep her in the family. We will also get a chance to see just how the other wives develop their relationships and if any of them will leave too. With Christine leaving, there are so many theories about Meri, Janelle, and Robyn Brown and if they will stay in the marriage or if they will go.
‘Sister Wives’ Spoilers: The 17th Season Is Coming And It Promises Drama!
During the 16th season of the show, we saw just how much Kody favored Robyn. He spent the pandemic with her and together, they collectively made a lot of rules for the family that was looked down upon. As the new season is upon us, we are going to get a chance to learn a lot more about the family and what is going on with them these days.
In the trailer for the new season, Christine admits to Kody that she wants to leave. She has a very emotional chat about the decision that she is making and how it is basically all because she feels as if she isn’t an equal part of the marriage. She notes that the other wives get more attention and affection and with her, she has been feeling this way for years. She has finally decided to take her life back and Kody is not happy about it.
Meri Brown is in the clip as well and she points out that she and Christine are really good friends and just more than just sister wives. Robyn makes it a point to stay out of the conversation about Christine leaving. (That’s no surprise.)
Kody will continue to try and keep Christine in the marriage, but he failed. She calls him out for keeping Robyn as his favored wife and when Kody starts to talk to the other wives, they are all on different pages. Kody is trying his best to understand why Christine won’t stay, but she is done and won’t take anymore from him.
The new season of Sister Wives airs on September 11 at 10 p.m. EST.
