The word is out that Kody Brown has started a new business with his wife, Robyn Brown. The couple has started an LLC and this time, they have not included Meri Brown or Janelle Brown. With this news on the front, their fans are calling them out for not including the other wives and they now feel like they have an ulterior motive and it’s not good.

Sister Wives: Kody Controls It All

When we watch the shows back, Kody is clearly a control freak, and fans and his wives have pointed that out for years. He has gotten very close to Robyn and hardly ever interacts with the other two wives. With his new business, it looks as if he is trying to set up Robyn and her kids and doesn’t seem to care about the other wives. Is this because he thinks that they could leave him too?

The new company that Kody and Robyn opened is called Dabsark Entertainment, LLC. When fans dug deeper, Robyn is the only wife on the paperwork. Does this show us that Kody is moving into the monogamous lifestyle and getting ready to get rid of his other wives? This is one theory, but there are fans who think that something else is going on here.

One fan pointed out that Kody and Robyn may have done this because they can get tax advantages. An LLC is set up to protect one’s assets and for some that there will be fewer self-employment taxes. Also, Robyn is the only wife that Kody is legally married to, the others are just spiritually wed to him. One more theory is that Kody opened this business as a way to split up the paychecks from TLC from doing the show. One last theory is that the LLC is a holding company for the title of their new home.

The new business is registered on the land at Coyote Pass and with the cabin on the property, Kody could be thinking of renting this property and that would be the business name that it is under. It is pretty common for people who have real estate to start a business to hold that entity separately.

It is unclear what this new business is all about, but we will keep an eye on it as it progresses. Be sure to tune into Sister Wives on TLC on September 11 at 10 p.m. EST.
