Simon Cowell may have a thick skin but it doesn’t help much when he continually falls of his electric bike.
According to TMZ, Simon was riding the electric bike on Thursday in London when he missed a sharp turn. Apparently the tires slipped on the wet road and Simon toppled off, landing himself back in hospital.
“Simon is lucky to be alive,” a source shared with Us Magazine. “He was pedaling along, with his electric motor on, when the wheels suddenly went from under him after hitting a wet patch. He slipped and went flying over the handlebars into the middle of the road.”

This time it was a broken arm, severely bruised up back and a possible concussion for the acid tongued Americas Got Talent judge.
Simon was treated in a nearby hospital and released the same day, a bright yellow cast on his arm is his newest accessory as per The Sun.
Though sources claim it was quite the dramatic accident it could, and once was worse for the 62 year old. Only a year and a half ago the newly engaged Brit fell off his e-bike in his own driveway, breaking his back in 3 places. He also underwent surgery to place a metal rod in his back.
Though he was walking again two days after his surgery, it was many months before Simon was back to his usual self- which includes riding the e-bike again.
In both instances Simon was NOT wearing a helmet at the time of his accidents, so yes, it could have been much, much worse for the former American Idol panelist.
“Despite this being his second great escape, Simon insists he’s not ditching the bike,” the source continued when speaking with Us, “but he will start wearing a helmet.”
Here’s hoping there isn’t third time, because we doubt it will be any sort of charm.
