She might no longer have a job, but that seems to be the least of Sharon Osbourne’s concerns these days. In fact, the television personality looked like she was in great spirits while she was out and about near her California home this week.
This comes after Sharon received a massive payout from The Talk following her controversial and emotional debate about racism with her former co-host Sherryl Underwood. Here’s what you need to know.
Photogs caught Sharon on her way into lunch at the Sunset Marquis hotel in Hollywood, where she gave them a thumb-up and the peace sign and appeared to smile underneath her face mask when asked if everything was good. She wore a loosely fitted black suit and white shirt accessorized with pearls.

Clearly, Sharon has every reason to smile as reports indicate that she is expected to receive somewhere between $5 million and $10 million for walking away from The Talk. Not only that, but Sharon “was able to spin that it was her decision” not to stay.
According to Page Six, one source close to the situation says that Sharon will tell her side of the story, but only when the time is right.
During her heated exchange with Sherryl, Sharon tried to defend her friend Piers Morgan after he said he did not believe Meghan Markle’s claims that she experienced suicidal thoughts during her time at Buckingham Palace.
The source said, “Sharon will talk when she is ready. She still wants to give her side of the story. She has been on that show for 11 years and knows all the secrets.”
If that weren’t enough, a third tipster says CBS had to fork out the cash to Sharon because “the network will have to pay her a sizable settlement to keep her quiet after this,” because “she knows where all the bodies are buried.”
