Sharon Osbourne is not messing around. The television personality just reportedly hired a security team because of all the death threats she’s been receiving, following her heated and emotional discussion about race with her The Talk co-host Sheryl Underwood. Here’s what you need to know.
As many fans know by now, The Talk is currently on hiatus while CBS investigates the heated exchange between Sharon and her co-hosts.
Sharon has reportedly hired a private security team after she started to receive death threats stemming from the drama surrounding issues on the show. Private security guards have supposedly been outside her family’s Los Angeles home in case anyone tries to come onto her property.

If all of the above weren’t enough, Sharon has also turned off the comments section to her social media accounts.
Meanwhile, Sharon herself has admitted that she doesn’t know what her future will look like, nor does she know if she will return to The Talk. She also thinks that she was made into the show’s sacrificial lamb.
Sharon recalled to ET Online, “Sheryl Underwood turns around and asks me this question and….she was reading it off a card. It wasn’t on my cards. And then Elaine [Welteroth]’s reading her questions and I’m like, ‘I’ve been set up.’ They’re setting me up. My anger was like, I cannot believe this, I’m your sacrificial lamb.”
“I wish we could go on and have a adult conversation calmly and work it out but I don’t know whether we can,” she says. “I don’t know whether it’s gone past that. I would love to but I don’t know whether I even want to go back. … I don’t know whether I’m wanted there.”
