In the wake of everything that’s been happening in her life, if anyone could use a care package right now, that would definitely be Britney Spears, it seems that Selena Gomez got this memo and sent Britney not only a new bikini for all those hot girl summer days she is preparing for, but also some of the beauty products from her rare beauty line as well!
An excited Britney posted about what she received in the mail, saying that she had been looking for shimmer products, which is what Selena sent. Selena even commented saying, “This makes me so happy! Hope you enjoy it! Love you so much!”

I think this qualifies as this summer’s moment of heartwarming, seeing two pop icons supporting each other. The thing is, Britney and Selena, if they could truly talk, would probably have a lot in common. They both went on the Disney teen idol to trainwreck pipeline that you hear so much about these days.
So if they really could talk, and I’m sure that Britney will get the chance to be surrounded by a lot of her peers once her conservatorship ends, they’ll probably have a lot to say to each other. Selena Gomez was a Disney star too, and she found some trouble breaking out of her former Disney Star mold, but fortunately was surrounded by supportive, non-controlling family members during her times of need.
It seems that Britney has at least got control of her IG account back, and her new lawyer, Matthew Rosengart, says that he is working continuously, and vigorously, to end her conservatorship without having Britney mentally evaluated again, which, given the nature of the way things are now, would only resort in her family exerting even more control over her than they already have.
Here’s hoping that this is the first of many good moments for Britney that she can share with the outside world now that she’s not relegated to posting complete nonsense. We’re living for the good times as well as all the salt directed at her family, but perhaps her IG will be a place where she can share things about her actual life soon. Here’s hoping. Stay tuned!!!
